Future looks strong at Trillium Hatchery after hiring young Hatchery Manager

Stratford, Ontario. Trillium hatchery is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Moffett as the Hatchery Manager as of February 5, 2018. Mark brings 12 years of managerial experience with the past 6 years as the Production Manager and more recently the last year as the Plant Manager at Farm Fresh Poultry.

Trillium Hatchery has a strong foundation made up of shareholders in every part of the poultry industry with 100’s of years of experience combined. Now with the addition of Mark, the foundation is even stronger but also upholds the mentality that the brand-new hatchery will change the outdated mindset of the Ontario hatchery industry to a much-needed modern outlook on how chicks are produced. “I am even more optimistic about the future of Trillium Hatchery knowing it is in his hands” said Murray Booy, founding partner of Trillium Hatchery.

Trillium Hatchery is in the process of being built to be a state of the art hatchery using a modern concept of providing chicks with feed and water as soon as they are hatched. The hatchery is scheduled to be complete and ready for eggs in September, aiming for the first chick delivery to be October 1, 2018.
